It leads visitors down into the baroque cellars which, enclosed in meter thick brick walls, extnd 36 meters below ground. A unique way to experience the link between centuries of wine-making tradition and state-of-the-art technology.
For an enjoyable addition to one's impressions from the tour, we recommend a visit to our monastery's wine shop, the Vinothek, at the end of the Winery Tour. It's a fine opportunity to taste the abbey's wines in a historic setting.
Tours are scheduled year-round, except during the wine harvest in autumn.
