Minopolis is a unique theme park – a city in children’s size built on 6,000 square meters with a Fun Zone.
Four- to twelve-year-olds can pretend to slip into the skins of grownups or “prepare” themselves for their dream jobs in 25 theme stations - such as fire-brigade, food market, bank, TV-studio, styling studio and many more – children assume the roles of grown-ups and learn about the work-world while still playing. Whether engine-driver, doctor, journalist or fireman – Minopolis is the setting for an exciting career adventure and for some instructive experiences.
Payment is made in the children’s city with its own currency, the eurolino, which one must work hard to earn, just like in real life.
Minopolis gives an insight into a world that is otherwise closed to children. All sorts of ideal professions turn out to be not nearly as ideal as supposed. Unknown professions, hidden talents, are discovered and plans for a new profession are worked out. The children are confronted with reality in a playful way and learn about the adult world, their parents’ world, with more respect so that they can then form a better picture of what awaits them in life ahead.
One thing is quite clear in this children’s city. All the kids enjoy it tremendously and commit themselves completely to it with great interest.
Minopolis addresses itself primarily to children, but it is also concerned with the accompanying persons.
The catering and infant areas as well as a unique care-service for small children make Minopolis an attractive proposition for parents. While their children are making the most of their Minopolis experience, parents can either stay with their children and relax in the parentslounge or in the restaurant.
